Bouygues Speed Up for ‘Employability Day’

As part of our commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), our Human Resources department recently volunteered to team up with ER events, to run an ‘Employability Day’ with secondary school pupils at Prendergast Vale School in Lewisham.

This was a full day event where students were invited to take part in a range of interactive activities, aimed to develop their employability skills, including mastering an application form and preparing for interviews.

Strengthening our expertise within the Healthcare Sector: Bouygues Trust in Gina Lynn

In 1972, Georgina Lynn responded to an advertisement in ’The Lady’ magazine for the position of Assistant Domestic Superintendent at the West Middlesex University Hospital (WMUH).

A year later, following her successful appointment, Gina was promoted to Domestic Superintendent alongside a team of ten senior and first line supervisors. With it came the responsibility of a workforce of 300 domestic staff; spending the majority of her time as a hands on Manager, providing patient and ward-based services to improve and maintain quality standards.
